Maintaining an accurate record of stock levels, ensuring that inventory is well-organized and properly stored.
Receiving, unpacking, and storing products or materials in appropriate locations, ensuring easy access and efficient use of space.
Conducting regular stock checks to prevent overstocking or stock outs, and ensuring that the products are in good condition.
Picking and packing items for customer orders or internal use, ensuring that they are correctly labeled and prepared for dispatch.
Monitoring stock levels and placing orders for replenishment when necessary, often coordinating with suppliers or management.
Inspecting goods for quality, and ensuring that damaged or expired items are removed or reported.
Keeping detailed records of all transactions (in and out) involving stock, including receipts, issues, returns, and adjustments.
Ensuring that safety standards are followed and that the storage area is clean, organized, and compliant with regulations.
Collaborating with other departments (e.g., procurement, sales) to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery of goods.
Keeping the storage areas and equipment in good condition.
