• Ability to work independently, effectively direct and supervising team.
• Must have experience in accounting based software especially Tally/ ERP.
• Must have capable to interact with inter departments to resolve issues and capable of handling the company’s store & distribution department.
• Energetic, confident and proactive.
• Ability to work effectively under stressful conditions.

Responsibilities & Context

Responsibilities:

• Preference will be given to candidates from food companies.
• Inventory Management: Oversee inventory levels to ensure accurate stock availability and minimize discrepancies.
• Stock Replenishment: Coordinate timely replenishment of products based on sales forecasts and inventory turnover rates.
• Team Leadership: Supervise and train store and distribution staff, fostering a collaborative work environment.
• Logistics Coordination: Plan and execute logistics for inbound and outbound shipments, optimizing delivery schedules.
• Quality Control: Implement quality assurance measures to maintain product standards and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Sales Support: Assist in developing sales strategies and promotional activities to enhance product visibility.
• Customer Service Oversight: Ensure exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving complaints effectively.
• Data Analysis: Analyze sales data and inventory reports to inform decision-making and optimize operations.
• Budget Management: Monitor and manage departmental budgets, controlling costs while maximizing operational efficiency.
• Safety Compliance: Enforce safety protocols and standard operating procedures to maintain a secure working environment.
• Supplier Relations: Cultivate relationships with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries and negotiate favorable terms.
• Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and productivity.
• Reporting: Prepare and present detailed reports on inventory status, sales performance, and operational metrics.
• Warehouse Organization: Oversee warehouse organization ensuring optimal space utilization and effective product segmentation.
• Conflict Resolution: Address and resolve conflicts among staff or between departments in a timely and effective manner.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to local, state, and federal regulations related to distribution and warehousing.
• Technology Utilization: Leverage technology and software tools for inventory management, order processing, and reporting.
• Crisis Management: Develop and implement contingency plans for emergencies affecting distribution operations.
• Performance Evaluation: Conduct regular evaluations of staff performance, providing feedback and professional development opportunities.
• Strategic Planning: Participate in strategic planning sessions to align inventory and distribution strategies with overall business objectives.
• Any other tasks as assigned by the line manager and Top Management.
