Responsibilities & Context

• Lead the preparation and review of shop/working drawings for bridges and culverts based on tender specifications and design documents.
• Ensure all drawings comply with relevant standards such as AASHTO LRFD, IRC, IS codes, and project-specific technical requirements.
• Coordinate with design consultants, drafting teams, and site engineers to ensure timely delivery and technical accuracy.
• Review and interpret tender documents, design reports, and construction drawings to extract and verify structural requirements.
• Provide structural input to drawing teams on reinforcement detailing, erection sequences, and fabrication feasibility.
• Conduct basic design checks to support or validate shop drawing development.
• Address technical queries from fabricators, contractors, and clients.
