Additional Requirements

  • At least 3-5 years related experience.
  • Familiar with the BNBC-2020, including but not limited to ASCE-2005, ASCE-2010, AISC 360-05, AISC 341-05, AISC 358-05.
  • Software knowledge and requirements (but not limited to): AutoCAD, Revit, ETABS, SAP2000, Staad Pro, RAM Connection, RAM Element.
  • Proficiency in RCC design work will be an advantage.

Responsibilities & Context

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build analytic and design skills under senior structural engineer.
  • Create design, calculation, diagrams on analysis and design work.
  • Responsible for the efficient and compliant delivery of structural design & reporting to the principal structural engineer.
  • Coordinate across multidiscipline teams within the project to ensure the client’s requirements.
  • Contribute to client liaisons in relation to day-to-day structural engineering issues and have responsibility of the structural design.
  • Work with the architectural and MEP sub-consultants with a good understanding of MEP and architectural interface to structural design.
