Experience: Minimum 4–8 years of experience in student counselling, international education consulting, or university admissions.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Bengali.
Counselling Skills: Strong interpersonal and guidance skills with a student-first mindset.
Presentation Skills: Confident in delivering live sessions, presentations, and student seminars.
Content Creation: Ability to create compelling video content and conduct engaging Facebook/YouTube Live sessions.
Social Media Proficiency: Familiar with digital marketing trends and tools (e.g., Facebook Ads, Instagram Reels, Canva, YouTube).
Event Participation: Experience participating in or organizing student fairs, open days, or educational events.
Tech Savvy: Comfortable using CRM systems, MS Office, Zoom, and Google Workspace.
Adaptability: Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment with a flexible and positive attitude.
Ethical & Confidential: Maintains professionalism, discretion, and integrity in all dealings with students and partners.
Working Hours/Days: Flexible working hours may be required to coordinate with UK-based teams.
Travel Requirement: Willingness to travel locally for student events and institutional visits when required.
Preferred: Certifications in counselling, career guidance, digital marketing, or international student recruitment (e.g., British Council Agent Training, ICEF Trained Agent, Google Digital Marketing).

Responsibilities & Context

As a Student Counsellor & Engagement Officer at FBA UK LTD, you will play a key role in guiding prospective students through their journey to study in the UK. Your primary responsibility will be to provide honest and clear counselling support, build strong relationships with students, and create engaging online and offline content to boost our visibility across Bangladesh. Success in this role means effectively supporting students with their academic choices, increasing engagement through live sessions and digital outreach, and helping us grow our presence in local markets. You will be a vital link between our Bangladesh branch and UK-based teams, ensuring students receive accurate information and feel supported throughout their admission journey. Your work will directly contribute to our mission of making UK higher education more accessible to students globally.

Responsibilities:

Advise students on UK university courses, eligibility, and career pathways
Guide students through the initial stages of the admission journey (excluding application processing)
Represent FBA UK LTD at student fairs, seminars, and educational events in BangladeshLead social media and digital campaigns targeting students across Bangladesh
Create video content (e.g. student testimonials, visa guidance, UK study tips)
Host regular Facebook/YouTube Live sessions to engage prospective students and build trust
Coordinate with UK team for interview scheduling and student follow-ups
