Additional Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Counseling, Psychology or a related field is more preferable.

• Master’s preferable.

• Experience in educational counseling or career guidance.

• Knowledge of the UK and EU educational systems.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Empathetic and solution-oriented approach to student challenges.

• Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks efficiently.

• Proficiency in English (both verbal and written).

• Familiarity with the academic needs of international students is highly desirable.

Responsibilities & Context

• Provide one-on-one counseling sessions to students, addressing academic concerns, career planning, and personal development.

• Assist students in navigating the complexities of educational systems, including subject selection, time management, and study techniques.

• Help students explore scholarship and financial aid opportunities, particularly for those seeking education abroad.

• Offer guidance on university applications, including assistance with personal statements, CVs, and interview preparation.

• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to develop individualized support plans for students.

• Conduct group workshops and informational sessions on topics like career planning, study skills, and mental well-being.

• Stay updated on the latest educational trends, application processes, and scholarships, particularly in the UK and EU education sectors.

• Support students in understanding their settlement or pre-settlement status benefits for educational purposes.

• Monitor and track students’ academic progress, providing regular feedback and strategies for improvement.

• Maintain confidentiality while ensuring records are up to date and in line with data protection policies.
