Requirements

Education

The incumbent should have a Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from a reputed Institute.

Experience

2 to 3 years
The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
Manufacturing (FMCG), Manufacturing (Light Engineering and Heavy Industry), Group of Companies, Food (Packaged)

Additional Requirements

Age at most 30 years

Experience of working in Maintenance Department of any Food Processing industry will be an added advantage.

He must have leadership qualities, initiative drive, self motivation and capabilities to properly supervise activities of employees working under him/her.

He must have good command over both Bangla & English.

Computer literacy is essential.

Must stay near factory and willing to work at alternating shifts.

Relaxation may be made in an exceptionally suitable case.

Responsibilities & Context

To prepare Preventive Maintenance Schedule of Installations of the factory and to ensure its implementation.
To supervise the all activities of maintenance of all equipment of the factory.
To take necessary measures to minimize breakdown of machines due to Mechanical / Electrical fault.
To report to the superior regarding spare parts required for maintenance.
To keep liaison between Maintenance Department with other Departments.
To perform administrative activities related to the department.
To take step to improve performance and place proposal for training to develop skills of subordinates.
To take step to reduce breakdown time of the machines.
To keep records of all maintenance work.
To discourage undue overtime.
To assist Inventory / Stores Department to keep safety stock of required maintenance spares.
To assign and control the responsibilities of subordinates.
To take steps to prepare yearly performance report of the subordinates and to submit it to the HOD in due time.
To perform any other activities as per SOPs and other documents of FSSC 22000.
Besides, perform of any other activities assigned by the management.
