Responsibilities & Context

Job Summary:

The Supervisor- Environment Management supports the implementation and maintenance of environmental and sustainability programs within the organization. This role involves waste management, and assist with environmental and quality audits, data collection, reporting, and supporting sustainability initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure proper waste segregation, collection, transportation, removal, sales, and scrapyard management.
• Monitor and promote reduction, reuse, and recycling processes to enhance environmental performance.
• Monitor environmental impact, chemical management, and incident occurrences.
• Track resource consumption, including water, energy, chemicals, and materials, to minimize misuse.
• Collect and maintain environmental and sustainability-related data, such as energy, fuel, and water consumption, waste generation, reuse, and recycling, along with waste management, energy usage, and resource conservation metrics.
• Assist in developing, implementing, and maintaining quality, environmental, and occupational health and safety management systems in compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 14064, and other relevant standards.
• Maintain records and documentation related to audits and compliance.
• Collaborate with various departments to establish and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to environmental and sustainability objectives.
• Assist in training programs to enhance employee awareness and competence in environmental and quality management.
• Support the development and execution of sustainability projects aimed at reducing the organization’s environmental footprint.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of environmental emergency and any tusk assigned by management.
