Responsibilities & Context

Divine Mercy Hospital Ltd. is seeking an experienced and creative Food & Beverage (F&B) Supervisor to oversee our Food and Beverage department. As an F&B Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high quality food services, managing the dining facilities, and maintaining excellent patient satisfaction of the hospital.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement F&B policies, procedures and standards.
  • Manage the food service operations for indoor patients, including meal planning and preparation and also outdoor cafeteria, coffeeshop etc.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Responsible for dealing with suppliers to ensure that the hospital kitchens are well-stocked at all times.
  • Monitor food quality and presentation.
  • Prepare the food and beverage department’s budget, including planning, cost control and inventory management to ensure financial efficiency and alignment with the hospital’s goals.
  • Supervise and train F&B staff, including Cooks, Ast. Cooks, and Food Servers.
  • Collaborate with other departments particularly with dietitian to meet patient and staff dietary needs.
  • Help food servers to serve patients food during busy periods.
  • Arrange regular maintenance and cleaning services, including pest control.
  • Handle patient’s feedback and resolve any issues.
  • Might have to find uncommon ingredients for patients with special dietary needs sometimes.
