Responsibilities & Context
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues in a timely manner.
- Document and track issues using a ticketing system, ensuring prompt resolution.
- Install, configure, and update software and hardware components.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as needed.
- Perform routine maintenance on computer systems and networks.
- Assist users with IT-related queries and provide training on new systems and software.
- Create and maintain user manuals and documentation.
- Assist in maintaining network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and wireless access points.
- Implement and enforce security policies and procedures to protect the company’s data and systems.
- Ensure regular backups of critical data and systems.
- Assist in disaster recovery planning and execution.
- Maintain an inventory of IT equipment and supplies. Coordinate with vendors for the purchase and repair of IT equipment.
