Responsibilities & Context
Lead or support the structuring of syndicated loans for large corporate clients.
Prepare detailed credit assessments and financial models to determine the lending terms and structure.
Work with risk management teams to ensure projects meet internal risk criteria.
Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, fellow lenders, and stakeholders.
Ensure all syndicate loans and transactions adhere to the regulations set by the Bangladesh Bank and other relevant authorities.
Prepare necessary documentation, including loan agreements, disclosures, and regulatory filings.
Oversee the performance and repayment of syndicate loans, including tracking project milestones and financials.
Manage any restructuring or amendments in loan terms, if required, to adapt to project changes.
Conduct research on the syndicate loan market in Bangladesh, including emerging sectors, competitive landscape, and new regulations.
Identify opportunities for growth and expansion within the syndication market to support the bank’s strategic goals.
Provide insights on potential industries for syndicate lending, such as energy, infrastructure, and technology sectors.
Lead and mentor junior members of the syndication team, fostering skill development in financial analysis and risk assessment.
