Responsibilities & Context
1. Hardware and Peripheral Support:
Prepare, install, maintain, and troubleshoot hardware components, including PCs, laptops, UPS, printers, and related peripherals.
Provide extensive support for hardware and software issues, ensuring quick resolutions to minimize downtime.
2. Networking:
Configure and maintain LAN, WAN, and Wi-Fi connectivity, ensuring optimal performance and stability.
Handle fiber optics-related tasks, including installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
3. System Installation and Maintenance:
Install and maintain CCTV systems, access control systems, multimedia projectors, and video conferencing equipment.
Operate and maintain video conferencing systems to ensure seamless communication.
4. Inventory Management:
Maintain an up-to-date IT inventory with proper documentation, including hardware and software assets.
Track and document IT infrastructure changes for audit and operational purposes.
5. Technical Support:
Provide instant and effective support for hardware, software, and networking issues, reducing response time and ensuring user satisfaction.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address technical challenges and improve operational efficiency.
6. Team Collaboration:
Work closely with other teams, exhibiting a positive and cooperative attitude to ensure smooth IT operations across departments.
7. Preventive Maintenance:
Perform routine maintenance of IT systems and equipment to prevent issues and ensure long-term reliability.
8. Compliance and Documentation:
Adhere to company policies and compliance standards while configuring and maintaining IT infrastructure.
Document troubleshooting procedures, system configurations, and support resolutions for knowledge sharing.
9. User Training:
Assist users in understanding and utilizing IT resources effectively through training and guidance.
10. Emergency Response:
Respond promptly to IT-related emergencies, ensuring critical systems are restored with minimal disruption.
Any other task is given by management.
