Education

Technical Proficiency:

• Operating Systems: Linux (Ubuntu, CentOS) and Windows Server.
• Web Servers: Nginx, Apache.

• Hosting: CPanel, bare-metal servers, and cloud platforms.

Certifications:

• Relevant certifications (e.g., Red Hat, AWS, Google Cloud, VMware) are highly desirable.

Soft Skills:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities & Context

We are looking for a skilled System Engineer to manage and maintain our web server infrastructure and IT systems. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Linux-based web servers, database management, web hosting platforms, with experience in hosting modern web applications using leading frameworks and technologies. This role involves ensuring the reliability, performance, and security of our infrastructure while leveraging cutting-edge web technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Web Hosting & Server Management:
• Configure, manage, and maintain CPanel-based environments for hosting multiple WordPress websites.
• Deploy, host, and maintain React, Next.js, Laravel, and Streamlit applications with or without CPanel.
• Implement, monitor, and optimize Nginx and Apache web servers for performance and stability.

Database Management:

• Administer operations for databases including MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and SQLite.
• Perform routine database backups, recovery, optimization, and performance tuning.

Backend Application Support:

• Host, maintain, and troubleshoot backend frameworks-based applications for proper hosting including Python (Django, FastAPI), Node.js (Express), and Spring Boot.
• Manage, Optimize, benchmark, and operate available backend API integrations, related security(XSS, spoofing etc.), and scalability.

System Administration:

• Monitor server performance, identify bottlenecks, and resolve system issues proactively.
• Conduct regular security audits, apply patches, and ensure compliance with security best practices.
• Perform disaster recovery planning and implement backup strategies.

Network and Hardware Support:

• Oversee office network hardware, routers, and local IT infrastructure.
• Diagnose and resolve connectivity issues within office environments.

Performance Tuning:

• Analyze and tune server performance to handle high-traffic environments.
• Automate routine server tasks using tools like Ansible, Shell scripting, or similar solutions.
