Education

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred). A background of O/A levels will be an additional qualification.
• Teaching certification and accreditation. CIE-trained teachers will have extra preferences.

• Strong command of English (both written and spoken).
• Previous experience teaching primary-level students is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage a multicultural classroom with international students.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Teach English Language and Literature to primary and lower secondary students with an emphasis on developing language skills, critical thinking, and creativity.
• Facilitate the teaching of other subjects (e.g., Science, Social Studies, Math) which are taught in English, ensuring clarity and comprehension for both local and international students.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that caters to the needs of diverse learners, including international students.
• Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with the school’s curriculum.
• Plan and execute educational in-class and outdoor activities and events
• Encourage active participation and engagement in classroom activities.
• Assess and track student progress through assignments, tests, and interactive evaluations.
• Collaborate with colleagues and school administration to ensure the highest teaching standards.
