Responsibilities & Context
- Develop and deliver age-appropriate physical education lessons that align with curriculum standards and educational objectives.
- Plan and organize a variety of indoor and outdoor activities, games, and exercises to enhance students’ motor skills, coordination, and physical fitness.
- Create a safe and supportive learning environment where all students feel encouraged to participate and develop their physical abilities.
- Assess students’ progress and skill development through observation, performance evaluations, and informal assessments.
- Provide constructive feedback to students to help them improve their skills, techniques, and overall physical fitness levels.
- Incorporate principles of sportsmanship, teamwork, and fair play into lessons, emphasizing the importance of cooperation and respect for others.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and community partners to promote physical activity initiatives and wellness programs.
- Stay informed about current trends, research, and best practices in physical education pedagogy, health education, and child development.
