Responsibilities & Context

For Teachers

• Develop and implement lesson Plans that meet educational stander and curriculum requirements.

• Successfully reaches all scholars by skillfully differentiating and scaffolding.

• Pace of the lesson allows processing time.

• Lessons entail a variety of materials to address learner variability.

• Seeks out effective teaching ideas from colleagues, workshops and other sources and implements them well create a positive and engaging classroom environment conducive to learning.

• Assess and evaluate student performance and progress.

• Communicate effectively with students, parents and colleagues.

• Participate in professional development activities and school events.

• Support the schools mission and values through effective teaching practices.

• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades and other required documents.
