Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor/Honors
  • Minimum Bachelor degree in Physiotherapy/ Occupational Therapy.

Experience

Additional Requirements

  • 2-3 years of working experience in mid or mid-senior level in national/ international NGO.
  • Having field experience in and around Disability Inclusion, Mainstreaming. Having working knowledge on Disability Inclusive DRR will be an asset.
  • Must be familiar with the Rohingya dialect. At least understanding is expected if not a fluent speaker. Experience in Rohingya Response is a huge plus.

Responsibilities & Context

  • The incumbent will be the lead of Bhasan Char operation of CDD.
  • S/he will be representing CDD at all necessary levels at Bhasan char.
  • S/he will directly support and coordinate the rehabilitation activities at Bhasan Char.
  • S/he will support in achieving the Rehabilitation, MHPSS and Protection related project targets in Bhasanchar.
  • S/he will prepare, update and disseminate Detailed Implementation Planning, Quarterly & Monthly Work Plans.
  • S/he will prepare and get approval from the competent authority on Day Observation and Implementation strategy.
  • S/he will closely monitor quantitative and qualitative targets and will come up with plans to
  • mitigate any shortage.
  • S/he will carry out necessary coordination activity as guided and by his/her own instincts.
  • S/he will be representing CDD with and around all security agencies present in Bhasan Char as required.
  • S/he will engage in monthly debriefing meeting with Project Focal and/or Project Operations Managers, UNHCR Representatives, The Additional Refugee Relief & Repatriation Commissioner, The Camp-In-Charge & any other competitive authority as situation demands.
  • S/he will maintain regular communication with the UNHCR Health & Protection Focal in Bhasan Char.
  • S/he will meet the Protection Focal and/or competent authority as assigned by UNHCR on a monthly basis to brief about the points in the protection monthly report.
  • S/he will assist MEAL unit to prepare, cross check weekly and monthly protection reports.
  • S/he will prepare and collate all sorts of report going from CDD to any competent authority.
  • S/he will be the Key Information Focal of CDD in the entirety of Bhasan Char operations.
  • S/he will maintain a positive and reciprocal communication approach with all other
  • development actors concerned.
  • S/he will prepare the periodic (namely weekly, monthly, quarterly & Bi-Yearly) reports for
  • Bhasan Char and get them accredited from the Project Operations Manager and MEAL unit;
  • where applicable.
  • S/he will be responsible for healthy distribution of training opportunities among project staff.
  • S/he will be responsible for designing ToR & facilitating management visits with the help and participation from the other team members.
  • S/he will have a monthly plan approved from Project Operations Managers of the Project.
  • S/he will be briefing the HI PMs on a monthly basis.

Additional responsibilities:

  • Perform any other responsibility/special duty delegated by project and CDD management.

  • CDD is now accepting application for ‘Team Leader’ for the project titled “Inclusive Emergency Assistance to Crisis-affected Rohingya Population in CXB and BC, Bangladesh” which will be implemented with the support of HI. The duration of the project is till December 2025 subject to approval of the donor funding.
