Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM)
Masters
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) from a recognized university.
Additional qualifications in poultry management, business, or related fields will be considered an advantage.
Experience
10 to 15 years
The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Agro based firms (incl. Agro Processing/Seed/GM)
Additional Requirements
Experience
10–15 years of relevant professional experience in poultry farming, contract farming, broiler production, or a related field.
Strong experience in managing commercial broiler farming operations and field teams.
Candidates with proven experience in farmer relationship management, production optimization, and operational leadership will be preferred.

Responsibilities & Context
The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving operational excellence, production performance, farmer relationship management, team leadership, and overall business growth within the contract broiler farming operation.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and oversee day-to-day contract broiler farming operations across assigned locations.
Develop and implement effective strategies to improve production efficiency, farm performance, and profitability.
Monitor key production indicators including mortality, FCR, body weight, growth rate, feed efficiency, and overall flock performance.
Maintain strong relationships with contract farmers and ensure proper implementation of farming standards and company guidelines.
Identify operational challenges and take timely corrective actions to improve farm productivity.
Supervise, guide, and develop field-level teams and ensure effective execution of operational plans.
Coordinate with relevant departments including Supply Chain, Procurement, Finance, Sales, and other business functions for smooth operations.
Analyze operational and production data and prepare regular performance reports for management.
Ensure proper implementation of biosecurity, farm management, disease prevention, and quality control practices.
Support farmer selection, onboarding, training, performance evaluation, and retention.
Control operational costs while maintaining required production and quality standards.
Identify opportunities for operational improvement, business expansion, and sustainable growth.
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and applicable industry standards.
Provide strategic insights and recommendations to senior management based on operational performance and market conditions.
