Relevant experience 

• At least 4 years·
• Willingness and ability to work in hardship environment and remote area.
• Have experience on Training Material Development and Facilitation.·
• Have working experience on education project, especially work with school teachers and handling students.
• Good knowledge on teaching learning process and pedagogy and class facilitation experience at school.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.

Responsibilities & Context

Responsible for:

• Provide technical support to Secondary School Teachers through effective school supervision.
• Ensure capacity of School Supervisors and Teachers’ on teaching learning process, techniques and pedagogy issues through basic and refresher training in secondary education.
• Ensure quality education for Secondary Schools’ Students.

Activities:

• Develop training package that includes training schedule, session plan, presentation, and handout for Secondary Schools’ Teachers and Supervisors.
• Organize training for teachers and supervisors and ensure training materials as required in close coordination with partner organization.
• Conduct basic and refresher training for Secondary School Teachers and Supervisors.
• Evaluate post-training session, taking feedback and preparing suggestions to improve.
• Follow up impact of training with the participants/teachers at field.
• Visit Secondary Schools, observe teachers’ class facilitation in secondary school and required technical support with facilitating the class during school supervision.
• Provide technical assistance to identify secondary students’ learning gap and prepare recovery strategy plan and assist to its implementation by partner organization.
• Ensure subject specific all recorded video lessons at Secondary Schools and provide necessary support to teachers on subject related issues.
• Assist partner organization to organize meeting with parents and school management committee members at school and provide necessary support to address the challenges.
• Maintain liaison with partner organization, local government office and Friendship Head Office to proper implement of the project activities.
• Share necessary feedback to the partner organization and take remedial actions on quality implementation of the project.
• Prepare relevant reports and documentation as per project’s requirement and share those with project stakeholders and supervisor.
