- At least 8 years experience as a Technical Manager, Outerwear.
- Good Communication skills, and good typing speed in Bangla and English.
- Computer Skill: Microsoft Office Applications.
- Sound Knowledge of international buyers/customers’ requirements.
Responsibilities & Context
- Collaborate with designers, pattern makers, and suppliers to develop garment samples and prototypes.
- Review and provide technical input on garment designs, specifications, and construction methods to ensure feasibility, productivity, and manufacturability.
- Line layout in terms of technical terms, methods, and skill.
- Communicate technical requirements, resolve issues, and ensure compliance with quality standards at lines and floors.
- Identify opportunities to improve production efficiency and reduce costs without compromising garment quality. Streamline processes, identify bottlenecks, and implement best practices to optimize the garment production workflow.
- Provide technical guidance and training to cross-functional teams, including pattern makers, sample makers, and quality control staff. Stay updated with industry trends and new technologies related to garment production and quality control.
