- Passionate about working on Climate Change/Biodiversity/Environmental/Waste Management sectors.
- 5 Years experiences in development/research sector.
- Must be willing to travel for field visits.
- High-level of English communication skills and proficiency required.
- Must be familiar with MS Office applications (Word, Excel etc.).
- Excellent presentation and project implementation skills required.
Responsibilities & Context
Workstation: Mongla, Khulna & Dhaka
Project Location: Mongla Upazila
Contract Period: Initially 8 months

About the Job responsibilities: Plastic Free Rivers and Seas for South Asia (PLEASE) Project is to catalyze actions that reduce the flow of plastic pollution into South Asian Seas.
- Oversee the field operation of the PRISTINE project of waste management, distributing, recycling, sustainability, improvement livelihood of waste pickers.
- Implementing the project as per PRISTINE policy.
- Managing and distributing the waste marketplace.
- Communicating with Companies and Waste trader along with waste pickers.
- Communicating with our foreign partners/clients.
- Field travel are essentials and communicating with multi stakeholders.
- Field Monitoring and managing the operation.
- Reporting senior management to the projects.
- Develop the market linkage of waste marketplace.
- Building relation with Municipality, BFD, DoE, Community Leader.
- Provide technical expertise and support in waste management practices and technologies.
- Assist in the selection and procurement of waste materials.
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and standards.
- Develop and implement safety protocols for waste handling and disposal.
- Any other responsibility assigned by authority.
