  • At least 5 years working experience in the livelihoods sector including 2 years in management or supervisory position.

  • Experience working on Partner Management, Implementation of integrated projects, Rights-based & partnership approaches.

  • Clear understanding and competency in project/program management and livelihoods training program management. Experience in implementing livelihoods and skill training programs, youth development, soft skills, stakeholder engagement, internal and external communication, and program monitoring.

The Opportunity

  • The Technical Specialist- Food Security and Livelihoods holds the responsibility of supporting the team in addressing the vulnerability of project participants by ensuring the effective implementation of FSL activities. This role entails providing technical expertise and guidance for project execution, monitoring, and the capacity building of various partners and stakeholders involved in the FSL sector under BMZ & SC Korea project. The individual is accountable for supporting the project team across various aspects, including assessment, response analysis, design, coordination, implementation, and monitoring and evaluation of all FSL components. Additionally, they will offer technical assistance to partner organizations to ensure the alignment of project activities with SCI standards. This role also involves overseeing the project’s work related to food security, livelihoods, and social cohesion, including enhancing the capacities of children, youth, parents, and caregivers, as well as providing support in livelihoods and food security. This is contractual position for the period to till December 2024.
