Responsibilities & Context

Operate and set up sewing machines, such as single and double needle.
Perform routine daily maintenance and adjustments on machines.
Mount attachments, adjust guides, and thread machines according to specifications.
Troubleshoot machine errors and perform necessary repairs.
Ensure proper machine settings and stitching techniques are used to meet style and quality requirements.
Perform quality control checks on finished products to verify they meet company standards.
Read and interpret work specification sheets, drawings, and patterns.
Assist with style changeovers by adjusting machine settings quickly and accurately.
Provide technical guidance to sewing operators to improve efficiency and maintain quality.
Assist in training new operators on machine operation and procedures.
Collaborate with other team members, like quality control inspectors and designers, to address issues and implement improvements.
