Job Overview

The Territory/Area Sales Manager (TSM/ASM) in Food Sector will be responsible for overseeing sales operations within their designated territory in Dhaka. This role involves managing a team of sales representatives, setting sales targets, developing strategic plans to expand customer base, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

The ideal candidate should have a strong sales background in the food industry, excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record of achieving sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Management:

Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company goals and objectives in Dhaka.

Set sales targets for individual team members and monitor performance against targets.

Lead, motivate, and manage a team of sales representatives to ensure high performance and productivity.

Customer Relationship Management:

Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders.

Resolve customer complaints and issues promptly to maintain customer satisfaction.

Identify new business opportunities and potential customers to expand market reach.

Market Analysis and Strategy:

Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitors.

Develop pricing strategies and promotional activities to maximize sales and profitability.

Provide feedback to management on market conditions and competitive activities.

Reporting and Administration:

Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and budgets to management.

Monitor expenses and ensure adherence to budgetary constraints.

Maintain accurate records of sales and transactions using CRM software or other tools.

Requirements

Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.

Proven experience as a Territory/Area Sales Manager (TSM/ASM) in the food industry sector.

Familiarity with sales performance metrics and KPIs.

Skills and Competencies:

Strong leadership and motivational skills.

Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers and team members.

Proficiency in MS Office Suite and CRM software.
