Responsibilities & Context

  • Identify and target bulk and consumer markets for rice, flour, salt, spices, mustard oil, lentils, and aromatic rice.

  • Develop and pursue new business opportunities, driving market expansion in line with strategic plans.

  • Generate and onboard new dealers and distributors to enhance market reach and product accessibility.

  • Foster strong relationships with existing dealers and distributors through regular market visits and active support.

  • Create and implement effective sales strategies to drive primary and secondary sales.

  • Conduct regular market analysis to track sales trends, competition, and customer demand to refine sales approaches.

  • Drive Basic Sales KPIs for individual team members and the broader team, ensuring achievement of monthly and annual targets.

  • Lead and monitor subordinates, providing guidance on implementing sales strategies and developing performance improvement plans.

  • Prepare and submit daily, monthly, and annual sales reports, along with dealer outstanding reports, to the supervisor.

  • Utilize sales data to gain insights and make data-driven decisions to enhance performance.

  • Ensure optimal product availability and visibility through effective distributor and retailer engagement.

  • Support flawless execution of trade and Sales Officer (SO) activities in the market, driving high-impact sales outcomes.

  • Manage internal and external stakeholders, including distributors, wholesalers, retailers, and other partners, ensuring alignment and effective collaboration.

  • Work closely with distributors, supporting them in business planning and execution to drive mutual growth.

  • Demonstrate a strong commitment to working in the field and maintaining performance under pressure.

  • Consistently achieve and exceed sales targets, meeting both monthly and annual objectives set by management.
