Responsibilities & Context

Position Overview

The Territory Sales officer is responsible for overseeing and managing sales operations within a designated geographical area. This role involves developing and implementing sales strategies to achieve company targets, maintaining strong relationships with clients, and leading a team to ensure consistent business growth.

Key Responsibilities

Sales and Revenue Generation:

  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets within the territory.
  • Monitor sales performance and create action plans to address under performing areas.

Team Management:

  • Lead, train, and motivate the sales team to achieve their objectives.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.
  • Ensure team compliance with company policies and procedures.

Market Development:

  • Identify new business opportunities and expand the customer base.
  • Conduct market analysis to understand customer needs, competitors, and emerging trends.
  • Build strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders in the telecom sector.

Operational Excellence:

  • Ensure efficient distribution of products and services within the territory.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with logistics teams to ensure timely delivery.
  • Handle customer complaints and resolve issues effectively.

Reporting and Analysis:

  • Prepare and submit detailed sales reports to senior management.
  • Analyze sales data to identify patterns and areas for improvement.
  • Provide insights and recommendations for strategy development.
