Responsibilities & Context

Job Context:

Meghna Group of Industries (MGI) is one of the largest Bangladeshi industrial conglomerates. MGI is searching for some enthusiastic, qualified, and experienced individuals for its Sales & Marketing Department under the FMCG division. This position requires frequent retailer visits and monitoring sales activities of the subordinates to achieve sales targets and will report to the Regional Manager (RM). The suitable incumbent will have to play the role of front-end contribution for selling either or a bundle of the following assortment of FMCG products like Edible Oil, Tea, Spices, Condensed Milk, Milk-Powder, Sugar, Salt, Atta, Moida, Suji, Biscuits,  Noodles, Water, Beverage, Snacks items.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Prepare an action plan to achieve monthly sales targets of the territory.
  • Assist in appointing new distributors and help weak distributors in developing sales.
  • Communicate with distributor to ensure product availability, product lifting and ensuring delivery of products to outlets.
  • Visit outlets and distributors’ warehouses within the respective territory periodically to reduce the damage.
  • Supervise and monitor the Sales Representatives (SR) & Cycle Man (CM) to achieve their daily target.
  • Train the Sales Representatives (SR) & Cycle Man (CM) regarding product knowledge and sales skill development.
  • Monitor daily orders and deliveries through digital sales application.
  • Monitor the merchandising activities by the Sales Representatives (SR) & Cycle Man (CM) to ensure product visibility in the market.
  • Focus on new customer development and retention of existing customers to achieve sales growth.
  • Prepare the reports (e.g. secondary sales report, target vs. achievement, memo report etc.) and submit it to the Regional Manager (RM) on a regular basis.
