Additional Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in traceability audit, factory audits, quality assessment, or sustainability in apparel/footwear.
• Strong knowledge of apparel/textile supply chains and manufacturing operations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Effective communication skills in English and Bangla (verbal & written).
• Analytical thinking, integrity, and the ability to work independently.
• Prior experience with a Certification Body or in sustainability/traceability initiatives is a plus.
• Willingness and ability to travel extensively across Bangladesh

Responsibilities & Context

About the Role: SGS Bangladesh — a global leader in inspection, verification, testing, and certification. We’re looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Auditor to support traceability audits and conduct Technical Factory Assessments (TFA) and other technical audits in the apparel and footwear industry. The successful candidate will play a critical role in tracing raw material flow, assessing production processes, outsourcing and evaluating quality management systems to ensure transparency, technicality, and continuous improvement across the supply chain.

Key Responsibilities:

Traceability Audits:

• Conduct audits to trace raw material origins and manufacturing processes of apparel and footwear products.
• Verify various records, documentation and supplier compliance with diverse standards.
• Train traceability protocols and documentation to other Auditors.

Technical Factory Assessment (TFA):

• Assess factories against different aspect of TFA to verify capacity and capability in manufacturing and quality assurance.
• Evaluate quality management systems, process controls, and performance metrics.
• Provide insight and improvement recommendations to reduce product defects and enhance operational efficiency.

Reporting & Data Management:

• Prepare comprehensive audit reports and assessments.
• Maintain accurate records, analyze findings, review reports and support dashboard updates for clients.

Client & Supplier Engagement:

• Communicate findings to suppliers and brands.
• Collaborate with Clients and SGS local and global teams for project delivery and performance tracking.
