Requirements
Education
- Bachelor degree in Fashion Design Technology from any reputed university.
- The students from BGMEA University of Fashion & Technology (BUFT) and Shanto Mariam University of Creative Technology will get an advantage.
Additional Requirements
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize and time management effectively.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook) and using the Internet.
- Fluent communication skills in English.
- Ability to work under pressure & independently with minimum supervision.
- Work Skills : The applicants should have skills in the following area(s):
- Abode Illustrator, Abode Photoshop, Fashion Designing, Sketching.
- Fit & Garment Construction.
- Product Development.
- Creating Tech packs with detailed specifications.
- Developing CAD sketches to present to stakeholders.
- Overseeing the prototype sample process.
- Ability to work with foreign design heads and determined to work under pressure.
- Be able to meet deadlines and work timelines within a budgeted framework.
Responsibilities & Context
Job Context :
We are an INTERNATIONAL BUYING HOUSE doing business in Bangladesh for more than 26 years. We are seeking a highly enthusiastic individual to join our Technical Team as a “Trainee Technical Officer”. As a Trainee Technical Officer, you will provide technical support and assistance to the Technical Department from time to time. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or with limited experience in the Technical Department under the RMG sector.
Responsibilities:
- The applicant will be main responsible for assisting the Tech pack, Sample checking & Fashion Designing units for doing their regular job roles.
- Checking the sample for quality, fit and feasibility in terms of production technology until the production release is issued.
- Assist the Head of the Department by giving the necessary information to run the department smoothly.
- Any other duties assigned by the Management from time to time.
