- Proven experience in video editing, preferably for YouTube or similar platforms.
- Prior experience or internships in video editing is preferred but not mandatory.
- Good attention to detail and ability to work within tight deadlines.
- Ability to take constructive feedback and improve editing skills.
- Strong attention to detail and creativity in storytelling.
Responsibilities & Context
Job Responsibilities:
- Review footage and raw material to create a shot decision list based on scenes’ value.
- Edit audio, add effects, transitions, and graphics to improve video quality.
- Trim footage segments and put together the sequence of the footage.
- Ensure logical sequencing and smooth running.
- Create rough and final cuts.
- Digitally improve picture quality
- Add visual effects, graphics, pictures, music, and sound effects.
