Requirements
Education
- Bachelor/Honors
- Proficiency in After Effects, Premiere Pro, Illustrator, Photoshop, and other relevant Adobe Creative Cloud tools.
- Solid understanding of animation principles, visual storytelling, and timing.
- Experience working with audio editing tools and motion tracking software.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a creative team.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage time and priorities effectively.
- Familiarity with 3D tools such as Cinema 4D or Blender will get preference.
- Knowledge of social media trends and how they influence motion design.
- Experience creating animated content for accessibility (e.g., captioning, readability).
Additional Requirements
- Master’s degree is preferable.
- Minimum 2–3 years of hands-on experience in motion graphics and video production, preferably in a corporate or academic environment.
Responsibilities & Context
- Conceptualize, design, and produce high-quality motion graphics, animations, and video assets for use in marketing campaigns, social media, university events, and presentations.
- Collaborate closely with the creative, communications, and digital teams to bring storytelling to life through visual motion design.
- Develop explainer videos, logo animations, kinetic typography, and transitions that align with the university’s brand and messaging.
- Edit and post-produce videos, including sound design, color correction, and integration of graphic elements.
- Maintain a consistent and high-quality visual identity across all motion design content.
- Manage multiple projects with attention to deadlines and quality.
- Archive and manage video assets, templates, and project files for reuse and scalability.
