Requirements

Education

• Bachelor/Honors

Bachelor’s degree in any discipline or a film-related field.

Additional Requirements

• Prior experience as a Video Editor or in a related role.
• Experience in animation and visual effects is a plus.
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve (optional), or similar software.
• Experience with motion graphics software (After Effects is a plus).
• Strong storytelling and pacing abilities.
• Knowledge of color grading, sound editing, and video formats.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects efficiently.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities & Context

Job Overview:

Megamind Plus is seeking a dynamic and skilled Video Editor to join our creative team. The ideal candidate must thrive in a fast-paced environment, be proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve (optional), and After Effects, and be comfortable working on group projects. You will be responsible for editing video content, applying visual effects, and ensuring high-quality final outputs aligned with our brand and objectives.

Work Schedule: 6 days/week, 11 AM – 8 PM

Location: House 11, B Block, Main Road, Banasree, Dhaka-1219

Key Responsibilities:

• Edit raw footage into engaging, high-quality videos.
• Trim clips, add transitions, and synchronize audio for a seamless experience.
• Handle multicam editing and integrate external audio sources.
• Apply color correction, sound design, and motion graphics as needed.
• Work collaboratively with producers and creative teams to meet project goals.
• Ensure all video content aligns with brand guidelines and creative vision.
• Efficiently organize and manage digital assets for streamlined workflows.
• Stay up to date with industry trends and new editing techniques.
• Optimize videos for different platforms (YouTube, social media, commercials, etc.).
