Key Responsibilities:

Edit and assemble raw video footage into high-quality educational videos for our platform.
Work closely with the content team to understand the requirements for each video project.
Ensure that videos are edited with clarity, creativity, and consistency, maintaining high standards of quality.
Add motion graphics, text overlays, and other visual elements to enhance video content.
Implement background music, voice-over, and sound effects in line with the video’s tone and objectives.
Optimize video content for different platforms (YouTube, social media, website, etc.).
Ensure timely delivery of edited videos while meeting deadlines.
Work on video optimization for SEO, ensuring that the videos are optimized for search engines.
Collaborate with the marketing team to develop video content that supports branding, promotions, and student engagement.
Stay up to date with video editing trends, techniques, and industry developments.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Video Editor, with a portfolio of previous work.
Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools.
Strong understanding of video production, including framing, editing, and audio mixing.
Experience with motion graphics, animation, and visual effects.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team and take constructive feedback.
Good understanding of video content for educational purposes and how to engage an audience.
Excellent communication skills and a creative mindset.
