Video Editor (Remote | Full-Time) (Need to Join Right Away)

Schedule: 6 Days/Week | 8-Hour ShiftsRemote | U.S. News & Media Publication

We’re looking for a Video Editor to join a fast-paced remote team supporting a growing U.S.-based news and media publication. If you’re skilled in crafting compelling visual narratives and can handle both long-form edits and social-first reels, this is your cue.

Core Responsibilities:

• Edit long-form news videos and fast-paced short-form content (reels/shorts).
• Collect and organize relevant footage, b-roll, and archival media.
• Maintain a consistent visual tone and quality across all edits.
• Deliver polished, engaging edits on tight daily deadlines.
• Collaborate with a remote team of writers, producers, and creatives.
• Requirements:Minimum 3 years of video editing experience (preferably in news or media).
• Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
• Ability to cut for story clarity, rhythm, and viewer retention.
• Strong sense of pacing and visual storytelling.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Familiarity with social media trends (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts).
