Requirements
Education
Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology
Candidates with practical experience in Odoo/ERP support, implementation, administration, or customization, particularly in Odoo Accounting, business workflows, and multi-company environments, will be preferred.
Experience
2 to 4 years
The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): IT Enabled Service, Logistic/Courier/Air Express Companies, Software Company, Telecommunication
Additional Requirements
Strong understanding of Odoo ERP modules and business workflows.
Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Basic knowledge of PostgreSQL, Python, XML, and Odoo technical architecture will be an advantage.
Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical users.
Ability to work independently and coordinate with external developers/service providers.
Good analytical, documentation, and time-management skills.
Responsibilities & Context
Provide day-to-day technical and functional support for the company’s Odoo ERP system.
Configure and maintain Odoo modules according to business and operational requirements.
Troubleshoot Odoo-related issues and provide timely solutions to users.
Assist users with Odoo Accounting, Sales, Purchase, Inventory, HR, CRM, and other relevant modules.
Manage user access, roles, permissions, and system configurations.
Identify system errors, workflow issues, and data inconsistencies and coordinate with Odoo developers when required.
Assist in developing and implementing new Odoo features, workflows, reports, and customizations.
Monitor Odoo system performance and ensure smooth day-to-day operation.
Support accounting and finance teams in Odoo-related transactions, approvals, reconciliations, and reporting.
Assist with data import, export, migration, backup, and data cleanup when required.
Prepare and maintain Odoo-related documentation, user guides, and standard operating procedures.
Provide training and guidance to employees on Odoo features and best practices.
Coordinate with management and different departments to understand business requirements and translate them into Odoo solutions.
Follow up with external Odoo developers/service providers for customization, bug fixing, upgrades, and technical issues.
Ensure proper implementation and testing of Odoo updates and customizations.
Maintain confidentiality and security of company data within the ERP system.
