Responsibilities & Context

• Vocational Skills Development Specialist will be responsible to Project Head;
• Minimum 12 years working experience in the field of Youth development and specific experience in skills training program/TVET sector;
• Minimum 05 years’ experience as a Project Manager of technical skills development project;
• Extensive professional knowledge on TVET, wage and self-employment including enterprise development, youth participation, life skills and community engagement;
• Expertise to management and technical support of the vocational training centre operation and to provide technical support for different vocational training models, TVET pedagogy and development of the tracking management system;
• Good background and skills in facilitating training. Workshop, coaching, and mentoring others;
• Design vocational training programs aligned with project needs.
• Identify skills gaps in target populations and develop tailored solutions.
• Have vast experience in the field of life skills/soft skills, employability skills;
• Represent the programme and maintain good working relationships among the international and local NGO community/relevant development agencies, among community leadership structures and community-based organizations, and to visiting door teams and other key contacts;
• Regular Field Visit and Provide Technical Support to Project Staff;
• Oversee the completion of all technical requirements, including project needs and deliverables, in accordance with the project work plan;
• Capture Documentation, Best Practices, and Lessons Learnt and Share with Respective Personnel;
• Prepare Monthly Budget Requisition, Control the Budget, and Support to Prepare Financial Report;
• Report writing, analyse data for decision making and participation;
• In addition to that any other duties and responsibilities may assigned by the authority/ organization which need to be carried out.
