Responsibilities & Context

The candidate should have experience working in 5/4 star hotel and resorts.

Greeting and Seating Customers: Warmly welcome guests as they arrive.

Escort customers to their tables and provide menus.

Ensure the table is clean and properly set before seating.

Taking Orders: Present menus and explain daily specials or recommendations.
Answer questions about menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods.
Accurately take food and drink orders and relay them to the kitchen or bar.

Serving Food and Beverages: Serve meals and drinks promptly and correctly.

Ensure orders are delivered to the right customer.

Check with customers to ensure they are satisfied with their meals.

Customer Service: Be attentive to customers’ needs and requests.

Handle complaints or concerns professionally and escalate issues to management if necessary.

Provide a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.

Table Maintenance: Clear plates, glasses, and utensils as needed.

Reset tables for the next guests.

Ensure the dining area remains clean and organized.

Billing and Payment Processing: Present the bill to customers accurately and promptly.

Handle cash, credit card, or other payment methods securely.

Provide change or receipts as required.

Team Collaboration: Work closely with kitchen staff and other waiters to ensure smooth service.

Communicate effectively with the team to avoid delays or mistakes.
