Responsibilities & Context

Depot Operations Execution·

Assist in day-to-day depot activities:

unloading, stacking, order picking, loading, and dispatch.·       – Ensure timely order servicing in coordination with sales and logistics.·  – Ensure adherence to SOPs and maintain depot hygiene and discipline.

Inventory Management·

Monitor stock levels to ensure availability and accuracy.·       – Ensure FMFO (First Manufactured, First Out) principles are followed to manage shelf-life-sensitive SKUs.·  – Ensure batch-wise inventory tracking and alignment with system records.·       – Support monthly physical stock audits and reconciliation processes.

People & Process: Supervise warehouse associates, third-party labor, and loaders.·  – Drive team productivity and discipline as per shift planning.·   – Ensure adherence to safety and compliance standards.

Documentation & Reporting·  – Maintain accurate inward, outward, damage, and return records.·   – Update ERP/WMS systems real-time to reflect inventory status.·    – Prepare daily depot reports (dispatch, damages, aging stock, etc.) for management review.·       -Preparation & Maintenance of VAT documents & registers (Mushak 6.2.1, Mushak  6.3 , Mushak6.7,Mushak 6.8 )

Cross-Functional Coordination·  – Coordinate with transporters for vehicle availability and dispatch execution.· – Align with sales, commercial, and demand planning teams to ensure stock availability and service levels.·  – Manage returnable assets (crates, pallets, etc.) and support in reducing secondary freight costs.

Key Competencies:· – Strong operational discipline and execution focus·  – Proficiency in FMFO and batch handling·  – Problem-solving and coordination ability·  – Working knowledge of  TALLY / Inventory Management software, VAT software  and MS Excel·       – Team handling capability under pressure

Qualifications & Experience:·    – Graduate in any discipline·       – 2–4 years of experience in depot/logistics operations (FMCG preferred)

KPIs:·  – FMFO Compliance Rate·  – Inventory Accuracy (%)·    – OTIF (On Time In Full) Dispatch %·  – Damage & Expiry %·- Depot Hygiene & Audit Scores
