Additional Requirements

• Minimum 03 (Three) years’ experience in similar position in NGO/INGO.
• Able to drive motor bike with valid driving license.
• Have motivation to stay at Upazilla level and work with LP, Mason, WASH product marketing companies, market vendors, community peoples, GoB departments, civil Society, NGO and development partners
• Working experience with USAID funded nutrition/WASH and/or market system project will add value.
• Excellent computer skills in word, excel and internet using is an advantage.

Responsibilities & Context

Job Context

Dhaka Ahsania Mission (DAM) is a non-government development organization founded in 1958 by Khan Bahadur Ahsanullah, an eminent educationist, reformer and Sufi with the aim of social and spiritual development of the entire human community. DAM has been contributing for the betterment of the disadvantaged population through operating 35 institutions and also 8 sectors of development. The health & WASH Sector is one of the core sectors of DAM which has also been operating 8 institutions and 16 projects. DAM Health & WASH Sector is going to recruit a competent and self-motivated individual for the position of wash Field Facilitator of its “USAID Feed the Future Bangladesh Nutrition Activities” (BNA) Project, based in Upazilla level of Jhalokati district under Barishal Division.

Job Summary: WASH Field Facilitator will be responsible for providing necessary support to Bangladesh Nutrition Activity Upazilla level. She/he will closely work with the Latrine Producer (LP), Masons, WASH product marketing companies, community, BNA district team and will support her/his supervisor in daily operations.

Job Location: Any Upazila of Jhalokati district.

Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for technical and marketing skills development of Latrine Producers (LP) and Masons to increase sales of quality WASH products in the assigned Upazila
• Prepare monthly plan, implement the activities in time and report to supervisors.
• Organize and conduct various training, orientation, meeting, coaching for Latrine Producers (LP), Masons, sanitation product manufacturers, and DPHE and rural community.
• Support LPs and Masons to ensure proper construction practices to enable them to produce and market high-quality hygienic latrines to rural communities.
• Responsible to maintain coordination and linkages trained LPs, Masons and sanitation product manufacturers to ensure a steady supply of quality construction materials and sanitation parts.
• Support LPs in organizing Group Sales Court Yard Meeting to increase selling of high-quality hygienic latrine.
• Support project activities through regular field visit.
• Regular field visit for quality implementation of planned activities.
• Prepare daily, weekly, monthly reports and submit to her/his supervisor in time.
• Regular data collection from filed and input to Kobo link or as per assigned link, apps or website.
• Linkage building with the WASH market system actors for better achievements.
• Prepare regular insight/success story and submit in time.
• Maintain regular coordination and communication with the government field officials and LGIs like; UP Chairman, UNO, UH&FPO, DPHE and other relevant stakeholders like; MMC, BA, donors and other BNA Partners’ filed officials.
• Conduct various awareness events.
• Prepare and submit bill Voucher in time.
• Support M&E team in collecting data/information
• Support to internal/external visit team
• Participate in the government monthly coordination meeting at Upazilla level.
• Maintain regular communication with WASH Field Coordinator and Project Manager.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the authority.

Compensation & Other Benefits

Salary: Tk.30000 (Monthly) plus other admissible benefits
