Responsibilities & Context
Ensure all over welfare activities as per Bangladesh Labor Law-2006 and Labor Rules 2015 & 2022.
Prepared for any kind of compliance audit as per buyer COC & standard.
Arrange routine welfare meetings and Training, such as Orientation, Grievance, OHS, etc.
Ensure grievance management system as per BLC;
Establish effective both way flow of communication between management and workers and hold consultations with a view to maintain harmonious relations between the management and workers.
Look after the provision of amenities such as dining, adequate wash room facility, drinking water, etc;
Advise and brief workers on the proper use of PPE, machine guard, sanitation, fire safety and others health and safety related issues;
Maintain compliance as per compliance guidelines and company policy;
Conduct awareness training programs on rules and regulations as per Buyer’s Code of Conduct & law of the country;
Conduct orientation for new employees.
Organize welfare committee meetings, WPC, and Grievance meetings, preparing minutes and circulating.
Take care of workers, special care of pregnant & injured workers.
Counseling and follow up pregnant workers.
Ensuring Maternity benefits as per Labor Law. Update to management all compliance reports in regular interval etc.
