Requirements

Education

• Honours/Master’s from any discipline from any reputed Institution.
• PGD in compliance /LLB passed applicant will get preference.

Experience

• 3 to 5 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
  Garments, Textile

Additional Requirements

• Age 30 to 35 years

• Good Communication skills, good typing speed in Bangla and English.
• Computer Skill: Microsoft Office Applications.
• Sound Knowledge of Labour Law & Rules.

Responsibilities & Context

• To aware workers about company policies.
• Take care washroom, canteen, childcare, water supply, restroom, and sharp tool using area, check and monitoring the registers.
• Helping all worker about leave and maintain a register.
• Work to develop a worker-owner relationship and good communication.
• To handle grievance from worker’s end.
• Work to ensure good health and safe environment in the workplace in all aspects of compliance including OSH, Chemical, fire and electrical.
• To provide them guidance/assistance in availing medical services, canteen facilities, and their legal assistance.
• To look after the provision of amenities such as dining, adequate toilet facility, drinking water etc.
• To advise and brief workers on the use of PPE, machine guard, sanitation, fire safety etc.
• Ensure no physical or sexual abuse in the workplace.
• Make committee (PC and safety) and follow up meeting agenda, improvement and record keeping.
• Prepare floor for ensuring 100% compliance regularly as well as during audit date.
• Counseling to workers and floor staff.
• Ensure all employees right as per labor law.
• Ensure all over welfare activities as per Bangladesh Labor Law-2006 and Labor Rules 2015.
• Conducting different types of survey and report as per need.
• Play vital role in different types of workers committee, such as: PC, Safety, Grievance and Anti-Harassment Committees.
• Investigate any types of grievance as per need, based on investigations report and insist the factory management necessary action.
• Any other job given by the management.
