Responsibilities & Context
- To pay attention to various facilities for the welfare of the workers such as: canteen, rest room, children’s center, provision of adequate toilets and washrooms, drinking water etc.
- To strive to improve the quality of work and living conditions of the workers and to make recommendations to the appropriate authorities regarding their welfare.
- If there are any individual or collective grievances of the workers, they should be brought to the attention of the authorities for their prompt disposal.
- If there is a difference of opinion between the employer and the labor side, taking the initiative for compromise.
