Job Overview

Digital Pylot is looking for a skilled WordPress Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in developing, customizing, and maintaining WordPress websites. As a WordPress Developer, you will be responsible for creating dynamic and engaging websites and ensuring they are optimized for both performance and user experience.

Job Responsibilities

• Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites based on business needs.

• Implement and manage themes, plugins, and custom WordPress functionality.

• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices.

• Ensure websites are mobile-friendly and optimized for performance.

• Integrate third-party APIs and services to enhance website functionality.

• Perform website testing to ensure functionality, usability, and cross-browser compatibility.

• Optimize websites for SEO, speed, and security.

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to WordPress themes, plugins, and server-side issues.

• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement design layouts and user experiences effectively.

• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in WordPress development, security, and optimization.

• Provide ongoing support and maintenance for websites.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field.

• 1-3 years of professional experience in WordPress development.

• Strong experience with WordPress theme and plugin development.

• Proficient in PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and MySQL.

• Knowledge of responsive web design principles.

• Experience with page builders (e.g., Elementor, WPBakery, etc.).

• Familiarity with SEO best practices and tools.

• Experience with website performance optimization techniques.

• Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to resolve issues independently.

• Ability to work in a collaborative environment and follow project timelines.

• Familiarity with version control systems like Git is a plus.

Salary

• 25,000 – 50,000 BDT (Based on experience)
