Additional Requirements

• Age 28 to 40 years

• Proven experience as a Sub-Editor, Copy Editor, or similar editorial role, preferably in sports or lifestyle media.
• Impeccable grammar, spelling, and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with publishing software and online content management systems.
• Comfortable on camera or behind a microphone—experience in podcasting and/or video production is a big plus.
• A collaborative mindset and the ability to work to tight deadlines without compromising quality.
• Strong understanding of journalistic ethics and editorial guidelines.

Responsibilities & Context

• Edit, rewrite, and proofread articles, interviews, and features for our print magazine and website.
• Maintain the Golf House tone, style, and content quality across all formats.
• Ensure that all names, statistics, and golf event details are accurate and up-to-date.
• Write and post content daily across Facebook, LinkedIn, and the Golf House website.
• Create engaging headlines, captions, and short articles suitable for social platforms.
• Work with designers and video editors to ensure visuals match the content theme.
• Plan and produce at least one video every alternate day.
• Write scripts, record voiceovers, and ensure on-brand storytelling.
• Coordinate with the team for shooting, editing, and publishing.
• Host and conduct the weekly Golf House Podcast, featuring golfers, industry leaders, and tournament winners.
• Help plan episodes, write scripts or talking points, and promote new episodes on all platforms.
• Contribute to monthly editorial calendars, special issues, and feature story ideas.
• Stay updated on trends in golf, sports media, and lifestyle content.
