Responsibilities & Context

Job Context: Sam Ree Dyeing (Bd.) Ltd. is a well-reputed textile factory seeking a qualified and experienced Manager – Merchandising for immediate appointment. The ideal candidate must have sound knowledge and working experience in the EU and AU markets.

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead the complete merchandising function independently for AU & EU markets with strategic accountability for sales growth, brand alignment, and business profitability.·
• Spearhead market research and product development initiatives to identify buyer trends and create demand-driven solutions.·
• Drive end-to-end merchandising operations: product pricing, buyer negotiation, cost analysis, capacity planning, and order execution with zero tolerance for delay or error.·
• Act as the bridge between design, development, production, and buyer, ensuring each step aligns with buyer expectations and delivers measurable commercial results.·
• Consistently challenge and improve operational systems and procedures to ensure the company remains globally competitive in lead time, quality, and pricing.·
• Maintain and expand strong relationships with buyers across Australia, Europe, and South America, ensuring repeat business through value-driven execution.·
• Establish KPIs across the merchandising and planning teams and hold the team accountable to performance benchmarks through structured reviews.·
• Manage pre- and post-production timelines with proactive risk mitigation to avoid order loss, compliance issues, or shipment delays.·
• Develop business development strategies to unlock new markets and clients, ensuring profitable diversification.·        Champion cross-functional collaboration between merchandising, sales, production, and quality control to deliver consistent output at scale.·
• Prepare reports for top management on profitability, customer satisfaction, and process improvement recommendations.
