Additional Requirements

Strong knowledge of Windows/Linux server administration, Active Directory, and DNS/DHCP services.
Proficiency in managing enterprise storage solutions (Dell EMC, HPE, NetApp, etc.).
Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware ESXi, vSphere, Hyper-V).
Familiarity with backup tools (Veeam, Commvault, Veritas) and disaster recovery planning.
Basic scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash) will be an advantage.
Industry certifications (e.g., Microsoft, VMware, HPE, NetApp) are preferred.

Responsibilities & Context

Job Summary:

Akij Blue Pill Limited is seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Manager – Server & Storage to manage and optimize server infrastructure, storage systems, and virtualization platforms. The ideal candidate will ensure high availability, security, and performance of server and storage environments that support critical business operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, deploy, configure, and maintain enterprise-level server and storage systems (both on-prem and cloud-based).

Administer and monitor virtualized environments (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V) including performance tuning and capacity planning.
Oversee data backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions.
Manage SAN, NAS, and other storage platforms; ensure data integrity and availability.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design infrastructure solutions aligned with business requirements.
Perform server and storage health checks, system audits, and vulnerability assessments.
Maintain documentation for system configurations, processes, and procedures.
Provide second- and third-level support for escalated IT infrastructure issues.
Work with vendors for hardware/software procurement, installation, and support.
Ensure compliance with security policies and IT governance standards.
