Requirements
Education
- Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery(MBBS)
- MBBS /MPH and BSC in Nursing from a recognized medical college /university
Experience
- At least 5 years

- Minimum 5 years of experience in similar type of project in NGOs preferably with international and national organizations.
- Skilled in motorcycle driving with valid driving license is priority.
- High level of IT skill especially in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Power Point and internet communication.
- Excellent facilitation/coaching skill to conduct orientation, training, workshop, meeting, seminar etc.
- Proven writing and oral communication skills in English and Bengali.
- Excellent leadership capacity to maintain excellent team building and conflict response management.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skill.
- Pro-active, self-starter and result oriented, strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrate an ability to remain calm, and composed during time of stress and inspiring the same in the team.

Responsibilities & Context
Nazrul Smriti Sangsad-NSS is a non-government Humanitarian Organization working for advancement of poor men, women, children, youth, excluded people and person with disability since 2000. It is a non-profitable, non-political, child and gender sensitive organization. It always values all diversified people without discriminating religions, casts, creeds and suppresses all sorts of discrimination with ethnic and minority people. It also values class and levels of team members as well as beneficiaries.
NSS is going to implement a project titled“Partnerships for Improved Reproductive, Maternal, Neonatal, Child and Adolescent Health (RMNCAH) in Coastal Bangladesh” which is funded by Margaret A. Cargill Philanthropies (MACP) and supported by Concern Worldwide. The project will be implemented at Amtali and Taltoli upazilas under Barguna district.The project duration is January 2023 to December 2026. NSS is seeking a competent RMNCAH Specialist who has excellent experience in implementing projects on Reproductive, Maternal, New-born, Child and Adolescent Healthor similar type of project. The RMNCAH Specialist is responsible for proving support to the health service to ensure quality service including capacity building of the team members and assist the Project Coordinator for accomplishing day-to-day activities of the project. He/She will provide technical support to the project team and coordinating with the wide range of stakeholders including the Govt. Officials of the project aligned Departments, Upazila Administration, Civil Society, LGIs and District/Divisional level Govt. Officials (if needed).
Job Location: Amtali and Taltoli Upazila of Barguna District.

Responsibilities :
- The RMNCAH Specialist will provide technical support to PC in planning, implementing project activities to achieve the project Objectives and Goal.
- Lead the project team in successfully implementing all project activities following the project agreement and agreed work plan.
- Organize training and orientation to develop capacity of team members for excellent implementation of project activities to achieve the objectives of the project.
- Conduct needs assessment of the team members and take initiative to improve the capacity of gaps considering the planning matrix.
- Monitor the progress of the project regularly basis with at least80% time in field visit and supervise the subordinate colleagues in supportive role.
- Maintain communication and liaison with Government’s respective line departments and other NGOs (including I NGO).
- Ensure child well-being support facilities and their families life savings support.
- Maintain relationship with Community Clinics, Union Health Centers, UpazilaHealth Complex representatives to strengthen health service for community people.
- Collect, update and process information related to impact monitoring of child well-being related impact indicators.
- Ensure supportive supervision to the Union Supervisors, Field Facilitators based on work plan and program schedule.
- Assist PC to develop IEC materials, training modules, session plans, schedules, leaflets, brochures, fact sheets, posters, booklets, flip charts and audio-visual documents.
- Build strong relationships with Upazila level Government Health and Family Planning Officials, Local Government representatives, and CSO and other outlets so that our stakeholders efforts receive the best coverage for advancing their goals.
- Participate in the district and upazila level GO-NGO, coordination meetings and Hospital Management Committee meetings.
- Always get ready to facilitate the progress of the project with internal and external visitors.
- Practice, promote and endorse PSEA policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
- Carryout administrative functions as desired by the project to meet the policy requirements of the organization and donor compliance. Assist the higher management in planning and decision making.
