Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Engineering/Technology, Industrial Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred).
Experience
- At least 5 years

Responsibilities & Context
The Production Sr. Executive /Asst. Manager will oversee and manage the production operations of the frozen foods manufacturing unit, ensuring efficient production processes, quality control, compliance with food safety standards, and optimal resource utilization. This role focuses on maintaining high-quality output while meeting production targets and minimizing costs.
Key Responsibilities:
Production Planning & Management
- Plan, organize, and supervise daily production activities to meet demand forecasts.
- Ensure efficient utilization of manpower, machinery, and materials.
- Monitor production schedules, workflow, and output to achieve production targets
· Ensure timely production in alignment with demand forecasts and sales requirements
Quality & Food Safety Compliance
- Enforce adherence to food safety and hygiene standards (HACCP, ISO 22000, HALA, etc.).
- Oversee quality control checks throughout production stages.
- Coordinate with QA/QC teams to resolve quality-related issues.
- Implement and monitor Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for hygiene, safety, and sanitation in production areas.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure regulatory compliance.
Process Improvement & Cost Control
- Identify opportunities for process optimization and waste reduction.
- Implement lean manufacturing practices to enhance efficiency and reduce downtime.
- Control production costs while maintaining product quality.
Team Leadership & Training
- Supervise, train, and mentor production staff and supervisors.
- Foster a safe and productive work environment with proper safety protocols.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and skill development initiatives.
Inventory & Resource Management:
- Manage raw material, packaging, and finished goods inventory to ensure smooth production flow.
- Monitor wastage and implement effective yield improvement strategies.
- Coordinate with supply chain and procurement teams to align production schedules with material availability.
Reporting & Coordination
- Prepare production reports, analyze KPIs, and present to senior management.
- Collaborate with procurement, logistics, and sales teams to align production with market demand.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies
