Production in charge

1. Production Management

Plan, schedule, and coordinate daily production activities in the extrusion and blow molding units.

Ensure production targets are met according to client orders and timelines.

Monitor machine output and adjust process parameters to meet production goals.

Maintain proper documentation of production quantities, machine utilization, and downtime.

2. Process Oversight

Supervise HDPE extrusion processes: controlling temperature, pressure, screw speed, and die settings.

Oversee blow molding operations: ensuring parison formation, mold closing, cooling, and ejection are properly executed.

Optimize cycle times and process efficiency without compromising quality.

Troubleshoot and resolve minor mechanical or process issues.

3. Quality Control

Ensure that all products meet the required specifications (dimensions, thickness, weight, and appearance).

Conduct regular inspections and coordinate with the quality department for testing (density, stress, leak test, etc.).

Implement corrective actions in case of deviations in product quality.

4. Inventory & Raw Material Management

Monitor consumption of HDPE resin and other raw materials.

Coordinate with the procurement team to maintain adequate material stock.

Prevent material wastage and implement recycling or reuse strategies where feasible.

5. Team Leadership

Supervise production operators, helpers, and technicians.

Provide training on machine operation, safety protocols, and process improvements.

Assign daily tasks, monitor performance, and provide feedback.

6. Maintenance & Safety

Ensure preventive maintenance schedules are followed for extrusion and blow molding machines.

Collaborate with maintenance team to minimize machine downtime.

Enforce safety protocols: proper handling of HDPE resin, hot surfaces, high-pressure machinery, and moving parts.

Conduct safety audits and ensure compliance with OSHA or local safety standards.

7. Reporting & Documentation

Maintain daily production reports, machine logs, and downtime records.

Prepare shift-wise production analysis, scrap reports, and efficiency reports.

Suggest process improvements based on production data analysis.

8. Continuous Improvement

Identify areas to improve productivity, reduce energy consumption, and minimize scrap.

Implement new production techniques, process modifications, or equipment upgrades.
