Responsibilities & Context
In the role of IT Officer (Information Technology & Telecoms), the Officer will be responsible for overseeing and assisting management in IT matters, including full development, maintenance, and support life cycles of information systems and any other deliverables in line with the aims and objectives of the Authority.
Job Responsivities:
- Provides technical support on computer hardware and software in a corporate network environment.
- Identifies, researches, and resolves technical problems.Daily maintenance of PC and laptop, including operating system installation and software configuration.
- Daily inspection and maintenance of server room.
- System configuration, user authority management, and corresponding review work.
- Monitoring and tracking of incidents, tracking and escalating related IT issues to the correct entity.
- IT materials Inventory knowledge.
- Knowledge of system data backup/recovery.
- Any work assigned from time to time by the supervisor or the Management.
- Replace parts as required.
- Assist colleagues within the assigned areas of responsibility to ensure the delivery of effective results.
- Report to the COO.
